The world should have changed 30 years ago. When Dr. Sophie Sartwell, and the team of multinational scientists, published their findings that the world’s supply of Ethum, the primary energy source of the nations of the planet, would run out in approximately 50 years, everyone should have cared. And yet, nothing changed – the world continued on. There were profits to make, deals to be made, and diplomacy to be handled.
Some things changed 10 years later, when Rharian invaded Park and the reasoning seemed to be Ethum; but change does not happen quickly. It was over a year until the first outside nation intervened and the Ethum Wars truly began. Miglia sent a group of armed forces, led by the Stars and Stripes, a small group of government-backed super powered beings, to assist Park. The war was over within 2 years and Rharian retreated back inside their borders and faced steep economic sanctions from most nations as a result of their aggression.
The members of the Stars and Stripes do not speak much detail of what exactly happened in the Ethum Wars. Whether they do not wish to, or are not allowed to, is not clear to most people. But you all, are not most people.
You are the children of one (or more) members of the Stars and Stripes. It’s now been 10 years since the end of the Ethum Wars. How will you carry on their Legacies?
