The Fight For Lucil Campaign 8

This will be a test one shot looking for some players that really shine. This is an audition for an all star team. Game will take place in a homebrew world of my own creation. You will be required to roleplay in character, improvise, and be tactical in combat. This game is not for new players. You will start at level 3. Voice chat will take place on discord. Intro to the setting below

Lucil is your homeland. It is an isolated country with treacherous water on all sides except for the northeast. There lies the country of Nabruadia. 5 years ago, the magical forcefield that separated the two nations mysteriously disappeared and ever since then, tensions have only risen. War hasn't broken out yet but there are small skirmishes occurring along the border all the time. 30 days ago, morning came, but the sun did not rise and has not risen since. Tides have stopped and rivers have ceased to flow becoming standing water fraught with disease. There has been no wind, no starlight, no moonlight, and no precipitation of any kind.

Despite this, your lives have mostly continued as normal until you received a letter from a dear friend of yours. A half orc named Chork. The letter seemed desperate and stated that he needed your help as soon as possible and that he was going to be waiting for you in the city of Farrowhome at a tavern called the Raven's Nest. You were each contacted by him individually but met up at a small campsite about two days travel outside of Farrowhome. After some small talk you discovered that you were all going to meet the same person and have decided to make the rest of the journey to the city together. At this point all of you have been traveling all day and it's time for a rest. Perhaps someone should keep watch...
