The game takes place in the Empire of man. while the other races are not treated as directly hostiles they are view with suspicion. in the eyes of the empire Goliaths, Gnomes and halfling are also considered human that have evolved to their body types due to natural circumstances.
I dm with a large spoon full of realism, everyone including the npc has a life to live and wont just fade into the shadow as soon as they leave field of view. this game will be using a homebrew system that has essentially fundamentally changed dnd but still uses the same dice system and over all design
I am looking for player who can make the game every week ( holidays and emergency's not included duh ) and is capable of immersing themselves in the RP
The Campaign takes place in the southern province of the Empire. The Province of Vyria is a middle eastern inspired culture. It is a lifeless desert with permanent settlements only appearing on the sides of the great rivers that run through the province. The Province is ruled by the Sultan and his many Emirs, while the Sultan rules the entire province the Emirs have a lot of freedom but are kept in check by the Sultans iron fist. The people of the province are among the richest in the Empire ( minus the indebted ) due to the provinces large amount of wealth that flows in from its innumerable gold mines, hundreds of pearl farms, Vast amount of rare spices and Dead star metal deposits. In the Province there is a clear distinction between the people who live in the city's and those who do not. The City dwellers are most often seen as a little hedonistic and greedy but kind and well mannered. The Bedouin farmers, those who live outside the city's and toil the arable land, are all according to the law citizens of the capital city of the province ( Babyloosha ), thus are exempt to all local taxes only paying the grain tax to the capital city and the income tax from their profits as well. they are commonly seen as hardy and hard working, but also stubborn and a bit behind the times seeing as how they visit the city's only a few times a year. Then there are the nomads, the first inhabitants of the desert they are separated into clans who travel the deserts herding sheep, goats, camels and bison. they move from oasis to oasis, greenery to greenery and normally stay far away from the other locals of the province minus when they wish to trade, raid or negotiate. The nomads are seen as traditional, mysterious and dangerous.
The campaign takes place in the city of Nasarin where the party are working for the local Emir, they have dealt with a few traitors and have explored a bit of the sand sea that lies south of Vyria. The party is level 3. No need to have a character idea since this game runs on a entirely homebrew system.
