Jurassic Park: The Lost World - Survive Isla Sorna!

Survive Jurassic Park's Notorious SITE B after you and your friends find yourself stranded and with no immediate way to contact the outside world for help!

In the late 1980's, an investigative team has been hired to scope out the mysterious events transpiring on islands leased by the Republic of Costa Rica to one International Genetic Technologies Incorporated. You will be reporting directly to Bob Morris, a lawyer for the United States' Environmental Protection Agency, working in conjunction with your primary financial benefactors, a multi-national news organization which has taken a special interest in social issues in the Americas. The word on the grapevine is that there have been mass deportations of the indigenous Bribri peoples on those islands, resulting in many deaths during their forced displacement. Simultaneously, InGen has begun to import in Cray supercomputers and Hood gene sequencers; some of the most expensive, most powerful, and most rare pieces of hardware on the planet.

Your team's goal is to figure out exactly what is going on with one of those islands. Specifically, Isla Sorna, the largest island in a chain of five, which has seen extensive activity in the past few months. You are to gather as much information on what InGen is up to as possible, and to bring that information back so that a light can be shone on what is going on. With the valuable information you return with, your benefactor can bring public attention to the plight of the natives who once called these islands home.. And perhaps pressure the Costa Rican Government into taking action to rectify their mistakes.

Unbeknownst to this team, Mother Nature is about to fully educate them on the dark and dangerous reality of Chaos Theory, with the unleashing of Hurricane Clarissa. In a single evening, their well laid plans will encounter every possible road block not just to success but to survival as well. Control is lost as the reigns are returned to the terrible lizards which once ruled the Earth for over 150 million years.

It is up to you as a player to survive with your team on Isla Sorna while dinosaurs roam free. In the weeks that follow your arrival, you will see sub-adult specimens grow to full size and the dangers of the isle will increase as a new natural order settles over the wilderness.

Explore, learn the secrets of InGen, document, survive.. and ultimately, escape.

This is a pay to play game, which costs 15 USD per session, paid through paypal. Session 0 is free.

This game will be using DnD 5E with Modern d20 classes and secondary rules converted for 5e use, as well as expanded wilderness survival rules to fully immerse the players in being stranded on a tropical island filled with dinosaurs. No magical options for character building will be valid for use, nor will magical items make an appearance in the game. Everything will be based on the world of 1980's technology, with some advancements in computers, genetic engineering, etc, etc.

This game is played with a co-DM who will handle all female NPC's, as well as aid me with general game management, paper work etc. You are to treat her with the same level of respect as you do me. For all intents and purposes she holds the same rank as I do, and will substitute for me when I cannot make it.
