The King's Grave - One Shot

You have been tasked with a particular job that could land you on the chopping block. The King is dead and buried, your job is to get a particular magic item from the King's Grave and bring it back to your employer. Problem is that it is in a particularly well guarded area with more than just people guarding it. Wards and interestingly destructive spells will be your obstacles in this heist. What does your employer want? What is the Kingdom hiding? You find out!

Character Creation

The King's Grave is a One Shot for 3-6 level 8 characters and  should take around 3 hours to complete.

Please create a level 8 using Point buy or Standard array for skills and Max HP for level 1. You will then get the average for the remaining levels. Starting equipment + 1 rare magical item + 100gp.

Everything from Wizards of the Coast is allowed for character creation. You will have access to our compendium to create your character. Here's what you will be able to work within the charactermancer:
