The Ancient Lands of Calimshan Await

The scorching sun beats down on the bustling city of Manshaka, the City of Sin, casting long shadows on the dusty streets below. The air is thick with the scent of spices and the chatter of merchants haggling over their wares. In the distance, the towering red minarets shimmer in the heat overlooking the palaces adn Blood Arenas that are such a part of life here in Calimshan. The palaces and opulent life is a stark contrast to the poverty and desperation that lurks in the shadows of the city.

Amidst this backdrop of wealth and danger, you are one of a group of adventurers that have arrived, seeking fortune in this magical land known as Calimshan. From humble beginnings to heroic feats, you will be thrust into a world of intrigue, danger, and adventure, where the stakes are high and the consequences of failure are dire.

As you explore the winding alleyways and grand markets of Manshaka, you will encounter all manner of challenges, from ruthless bandits and powerful sorcerers to ancient curses and monstrous creatures that lurk in the desert,sea, and swamps beyond. With each victory and defeat, you will learn the secrets of this harsh land and uncover the plots and schemes that threaten to tear it apart.

In this epic Dungeons and Dragons campaign set in Calimshan, you will be tested to your characters limits as you navigate a world of political intrigue, deadly combat, and supernatural powers. Will your party emerge as heroes, champions of the desert kingdom, or will they fall to the dangers that lurk in the shadows? The fate of Calimshan may lie in your hands, and only time will tell if you are up to the challenge.

Characters will start at 1st level. The campaign intended to run at least one year. We are seeking two players to join an ongoing group that has been playing together for over 2 years and will be starting a new campaign. We are seeking players that are committed to a long term campaign.

• Game is every thursday 6pm eastern US time.
• Session are almost always 4 hours.
• We play pretty much every week.

You must be or have:

• Dedication and commitment to make the game time.
• Working network/microphone/pc connection and equipment etc...
• Time to play and focus on the game.
• You must not be a rules lawyer but be here to have fun.
• Have a working knowledge of the rules (beginners ok) and possess the PHB.
• A good imagination - show it off in your character concept - Keep in mind that contrary to popular belief- LONG does not mean better.

We use content from most official published books with a few exceptions.
I use a modified Forgotten Realms setting for my games. No other specific setting book content without DM approval. Eberron,Theros, and Tal'Dorei content for example is generally not playable in this setting.
