Hey there! My name is Matt and I'm the GM of this Stars Without Number campaign. We have been playing for almost 3 months and have lost 2 players recently. We have a solid core of 3 PCs and myself, the GM, but we're looking to bolster our ranks. The campaign events that have occurred thus far, are being regarded as the prologue. If you're interested in joining us, we want to give you ample opportunity to make it your game as well. The campaign is waiting for fresh-blood. All the details about the story so far, the sector, the other PCs, will be shared with you in a "session 0" of sorts. From there, you can make your PC and figure out how they have gotten involved in this mess. I've also given the existing players the option to make new characters as well, although I'm not sure any will do so. I'm trying to avoid just throwing new players into someone else's story. I want very much for the new and existing players to be on the same page and not feel inhibited because it's "not their story."
Very basic background: The players are indebted owners of a free-merchant class spaceship, which travels the sector looking for work and/or cargo to turn a bit of profit. They are at a crossroads regarding what they should do to pay off their ship. I imagine there will be a plan in place by the end of the first session, with your input ideally.
If you're interested in joining us, we would take time to talk with you about the story so far and what elements each player/PC is interested in pursuing. We would be spinning the clock forward a couple months, allowing for a potential history and trust to be built up between the PCs, and to allow for starting with a semi-clean slate.
So if you're interested, please post below. Note that good quality audio, and serviceable quality video are required. We play weekly, and are looking for people who would be willing to commit to playing for a couple months, as we are ourselves. If things go well, we can talk about the future beyond that when the time comes.
