Dragons of Stormwreck Isle

You are on a small ship heading towards Stormwreck Isle, an island retreat along the Sword Coast. It is a mysterious place rumored to be a powerful source of magic created by the deaths of warring dragons long ago. This campaign is a short one, 5-6 games, and is a nice mix of adventure, combat, and role playing opportunities. This will be a great game for both new players as well as experienced veterans. I welcome nice people from all backgrounds and walks of life at my table. Players who prioritize numbers over story, lone wolf players that don't work with the party, and people who are jerks are not welcome. This game will be free! and each session will run 3-4 hours.
Character Creation
We will build characters together in session 0 but you should bring rough ideas of what you want to play. Ability Scores can be calculated with either standard array or point buy.
Background should be from an official source.
Characters can be created from any published WotC source except any campaign specific content like Wildemount, Dragonlance, or Wayfinder’s Guide to Eberron and no Unearthed Arcana.
Race can be any WotC material except Yuan-ti, Satyr, and any race with a base flying speed. Variant human is allowed.
Class can be any official class or subclass.
No evil alignments
You can keep your character sheets on Roll20 (with a vast array of compendium resources) or you can keep it on DnDBeyond (I don't have compendium sharing). Your choice. There are also a few great pre-rolled characters for those who haven't played before.
