In the wake of Jarek's failed invasion of the Kingdom of the Blue Rose, that noble sovereignty still heals. Scars of warfare still dating back to the times of the Old Kingdom still mar the idyllic beauty of the most prosperous land in Aldea, now made fresh again in the minds of those who suffered at the hands of Kern.

You are Envoys, members of the Sovereign's Finest and the latest of your trade being sent on your first assignment. You are to report to the regional noble overseeing the city of Garnet on Aldis' coast, the second largest city of the Central Valleys next to the great city of Aldis itself. There, you will be put to work helping the people of the kingdom in whatever way you are able.

But, in the deep caverns of these grand cities, where the ruins of the Old Kingdom have yet to erode with time's passing, wicked things stir and prepare to present a new challenge to the people of the Blue Rose...

Hello! My name is Joyeuse and Blue Rose is one of my favorite games. I love the romantic fantasy genre and I especially adore games with a heavy focus on character interaction and social situations - including, especially, romantic encounters and the trials that befall them.

Blue Rose is a game that focuses heavily on the bonds between characters and those that they love and hate, how that makes them feel, and what they do about it. All of that, while also fighting evil shadowspawn and the forces of darkness that threaten the goodness of the world.

I'm looking for players who are invested in that sort of game! People who are eager to create a developed character who is grounded in the world and have connections with those around them -- no lone warriors who care only for battle.
