One D&D Playtest - 7/22/23

I'll be play testing the new One D&D rules with some friends and could use another couple of players. We will be using the UA6 document only. I ask that everyone play a standard 5e human using standard array (so 16,15,14,13,11,9 after the +1 to every stat) without feats so we can clearly see the class/subclass powers. I also ask that if you have a choice between something that has changed and something that hasn't that you always choose the new item even if that isn't optimal for your 'build'.

Game will be L9 (ASI at L4/L8) and all players should create good aligned heroes.

Game should run about 3+ hours with time for a discussion after.

I may reach out to players via discord to discuss characters and options, and I may ask some players to make character adjustments to maximize the new options we get to playtest. I hope to select players ~24 hours before game start and ask that everyone do their best to program their abilities into the game in Roll20 by start time (let me know if you need help).

You can download the playtest doc here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/sources/ua/ph-playtest-6

If it goes well we will see about playing weekly-ish until the survey closes.

Warrior of Shadow Monk
Gloomstalker Ranger
Trickery Domain Cleric
Circle of the Sea Druid

Classes/Subclasses we haven't seen yet:
