Hi there, I'm looking for four players to run a mash up of Lost mines of Phandelver and Dragon of Icespire peak. It's a beginner friendly campaign that will take players from level 1-7.
[LFG] [5E] [Mondays, 6PM MDT]
We will play Mondays around 6pm MDT (UTC/GMT -6) for 3-4 hours. This will be a weekly with taking one Monday off per month. My guess would probably be about 6 months or so to get through the campaign.
What you need as a player:
Roll20
Discord + phone app
Decent microphone
Webcam
DnD beyond account (optional)
Access to information about your characters abilities and spells
The Lost Mine of Phandelver begins with the assumption that you have accepted a task from a dwarf named Gundren Rockseeker, and his companion Sildar Hallwinter. They have asked you to deliver a wagon of goods to a place called Barthen's Provisions, in the town of Phandalin. You will be paid 10 gold up receipt of the goods. Beyond this information, it is up to you to think about how your interaction with Gundren came to be, family friend, business partner, drinking buddy, ect. This will eventually lead the adventures to numerous quests and adventures in Phandelver and the surrounding area.
Newer players are welcome, i will expect you to have basic knowledge of the game.
If you are interested in joining the game please head over to the game page and fill out a player application!
I would like the set expectations.. I am no matt mercer or Brennan Lee Mulligan... I'm not a new DM either. I like to consider myself a novice DM. I have a good grasp on the rules and gameplay but I don't think I am good enough to charge people a ridiculous amount of money per session.
I started off in 5e a few years ago. I have dm a number of one shots and I have ran a couple short term homebrew campaigns that fell through do to scheduling conflicts. As a player I have played through the tyranny of dragons campaign and a few other short term campaigns.
I do like to have a few adult beverages while playing. Helps the social anxiety and the creativity. Everyone else is encouraged to join :)
Homebrew rules:
Flanking is +2
Exhaustion -1 to rolls per level of exhaustion
Guidance must be rp'd
Bans:
-conjure animals
-any other spell that's summons lots of creature
-we will find replacements for any banned spells
