Trials of the Watchers

Welcome to the world of Runeterra. A vast universe with many mythical stories constantly brewing around the world. You might have heard of it as it's the universe of games from Riot studios, games like Ruined King game, League of Legends, Song of Nunu, or shows like Arcane. I've ran games in this setting for more than 3 years now. I've 5E-cified it and even have aditional homebrewed fun systems and rules for players to enjoy.

This particular adventure would bring you to the frozen northern lands of Freljord. Where tribes have fought over dominion and survival for thousands of years. A celebration of the north invites all the to enjoy the festivities of the ''darkest night''. You would find yourself headed to these celebrations for one reason or another to the famous holy site of Rakelstake. However, unbehest to all something started stirring under the ice, something ancient that has been buried and forgotten long ago.

About the campaign and the DM: It's a homebrew 5e adventure with emphasis on exploration. I run my games more like a sandbox, always places to explore and people to help. Since I love involving player backstories and weaving them into campaign I expect player involvement to make an amazing story together. Usually my games tend to be pretty balanced with roleplay, exploration and combat all taking equal roles. Of course that also depends on the session as well.
The campaign will probably last until epic levels. No hard cut off or such but it'll probably be about level 14-16. I usually start by leveling people fast through the beginning and then slowing down. All official 5e material is allowed, homebrew and UA have to go through me first. I tend to start with a session zero and help people into characters if need be.
I have minor rule changes that expediate and make games more streamline and fun. Healing potions costing a bonus action to drink, magical items costing only an action to attune to quote the few. I also enjoy reflavoring of classes, races, spells. Things that would make roleplay cooler whilst not making too much difference game wise. I also introduce homebrew origin system that reworks languages, gives people small perks and bonuses to start with.

Thank you for reading and I hope to see you in the game!

We've been playing for a while now, but people live lives and schedules change. Would love to have some fresh people join our game and experience the adventures together. It's high level adventuring already so the party is not restrained to single place in the world. Level 13 and aren't afraid to show it. The party is now dealing with existential threats now and then.
