  • Is voice required or text? - Voice, we use discord
  • Homebrew or Module? - Module
  • Which module? - Tomb of Annihilation
  • How much RP would one expect in your campaign? - In Tomb of Annihilation, it would be around 40/30/30 with exploration/combat/RP, just because of the nature of the module.
  • What kind of character limitations are there? ie. Races, Subclasses - Races and subclasses from PHB, DMG, Xanathar, and Volo's(I'm on the fence with monster races so that might change)
  • What method would we be using for ability scores? - Standard array.

  • How would you award the exp? - Most of the XP will come from Combat, Exploration, Missions/Quests, Social Encounters, etc. It will all be split equally between the party.
  • Could you explain the homebrew rules you'll be using in your campaign? -

Slow Natural Healing - Characters don’t regain Hit Points at the end of a Long Rest. Instead, a character can spend Hit Dice to heal at the end of a Long Rest, just as with a Short Rest. This optional rule prolongs the amount of time that characters need to recover from their wounds without the benefits of magical healing and works well for grittier, more realistic campaigns.

Healer’s Kit Dependency - A character can’t spend any Hit Dice after finishing a Short Rest until someone expends one use of a healer’s kit to bandage and treat the character’s wounds.

Identify Dependency - Magical Items and Artifacts require you to cast Identify to find out what they do or use trial and error to discover their magical properties. The results may vary depending on the method used. On the other hand, magical items do not require any attunement and can be used right away. In some cases, a proper knowledge skill check might give you hints about the magic items. Some items are still class-specific.

Goodberry - Goodberry consumes material components

Character Advancements - I use XP for leveling when a character gains enough XP to level up, they need to seek a settlement or other safe spots in the campaign. There will be some exceptions to this and those will be announced by me if and when they happen.

Sleeping in Armor - Sleeping in Light Armor has no adverse effect on the wearer, but sleeping in medium or Heavy Armor makes it difficult to recover fully during a Long Rest. When you finish a Long Rest during which you slept in medium or Heavy Armor, you regain only one-quarter of your spent Hit Dice (minimum of one die). If you have any levels of Exhaustion, the rest doesn’t reduce your Exhaustion level.

Waking someone - A creature that is naturally sleeping, as opposed to being in a magically or chemically induced sleep, wakes up if it takes any damage or if someone else uses an action to shake or slap the creature awake. A sudden loud noise such as yelling, thunder, or a ringing bell also awakens someone who is sleeping naturally.

Whispers don’t disturb sleep unless a sleeper’s passive Wisdom (Perception) score is 20 or higher and the whispers are within 10 feet of the sleeper. Speech at a normal volume awakens a sleeper if The Environment is otherwise silent (no wind, birdsong, crickets, street Sounds, or the like) and the sleeper has a passive Wisdom (Perception) score of 15 or higher.

PS. There might be some rules that I missed/forgot.

The best way to apply is to send me a PM about your experience with TTRPGs and what you are looking for in / your expectations of a D&D campaign
