Knights of the Round

Be it portal, project, mischief or mistake, you find yourself in the realm of Tartarus, and unclaimed land of vagabonds and slayers. Surviving is getting out. Getting out, freedom from the oppressive hold the world has. With the mountainous terrain, stalking demons and misunderstood trolls are as common as grass would be in a sunny place. The constant beating red light from the immobile star offers a melancholic hue, but at least hides the splots and splashes of blood that coats the world thrice over, at least.
