Friday Pokemon: Hakken Journey

Come with me to create and explore the Hakken region in the Pokemon world! Go on your journey and battle, capture, and bond with Pokemon until you're the very best! This game will focus on roleplay and characters with combat when it is called for, usually every 2-3 sessions. The story will focus on the gym challenge leading to the Pokemon League, with other challenges along the way.

We'll be using a fairly light system and I have made a custom auto-calculating character sheet so it won't be too much work to track a whole team of Pokemon, and all ages are welcome at the table!

Players are not expected to have any prior knowledge of the Pokerole rules or game system, and only need to bring a love of games and Pokemon!

DMing style: Comedic and dramatic

Personal favourite GMing moment: A doppelganger assassin imitated the rogue, who had an identical twin brother who had passed away. He was completely unable to fight because trauma and had to watch the sorcerer, his best friend and surrogate brother, kill the doppelganger with his brother's face. That event had a big impact on the rest of that campaign and its sequel.

A fun, roleplay heavy game with big dramatic fights and lots of jokes in between and plenty of room for romance. Anything written in your backstory can and will be used to break your character's heart.

Random fun fact: I once hung out for over an hour in a hot tub with the actors who played Bulk and Skull in mighty Morphin Power Rangers.
