The Court of Notions

The Court of Notions is an X-rated setting that allows for explicit sex, violence, and the freedom to choose which Notion you wish to devote yourself to. I expect to run for about 6 sessions, but it may go longer

We will be taking limits and consent very seriously as a result, and will not hesitate to remove problem players, as I want to keep this a safe space.

Game time may be spent something like this:
30% Erp
30% Regular Roleplay
20% Intruige
10% Combat
10% Exploration

The game time and frequency will be decided once applications have been accepted. Also, I have already started this game with one group, but will add a second seperate group if I get enough applications

The Day of Selection is nearly upon us, and outsiders flock to The Courts as they always do, hoping to express a passion worthy of boon. It is at this time that you travel to The Court. Have you done so because you seek favor? Perhaps instead you simply seek a land that tolerates your fantasies. Such a distinction is moot indeed, for one does not need to seek favor in order to find it. Perhaps instead you have heard of a Notion that is tolerated here which you find offensive and traveled here to oppose it, you will still find many who accept this cause. The only thing you won't find in this land is a lack of acceptance, and thus favor, by the Notions, for even Temperance doth bestow gifts upon the abstinent.

This game will include 3rd party resources in order to mechanically cement the adult themes, especially from the 'Book of Erotic Fantasy'. This includes a 7th attribute 'Appearance', classes like The Tantrist, who channels sexual energy into spells and The Imagist who is an Appearance based spellcaster. It also includes new presitge classes like 'The Dominator', 'Sacred Prostitute', and 'The Divine Celibate. There are also new cleric domains like denial and perversion, new feats, new spells for all spellcasting classes, new items, and more. These will help provide meaningful and integrated ways to interact with the Notions you seek to gain affinity with.

Power in this land comes to those who gain affinity to The Notions. This is done by acting in ways that align with a certain philosophy, each personified by one of The Notions. These include the Opposed Notions:
Passion/Temperance
Violence/Peace
Sensuality/Chastity
Voyeurism/Privacy
Violation/Consent
Seduction/Revulsion
Freedom/Commitment

Each of these grant powerful and unique boons if you gain enough affinity for them. Take care if you wish to gain affinity for one of The Opposed Notions, for gaining affinity for one will reduce your affinity to its counterpart.

Not all Notions are Opposed however, you may wish to devote yourself to one or more of The Harmonic Notions, whether it be to focus on one side or combine two. These Harmonic Notions include:

Dominance/Submission/Switch
Actor/Recipient/Participent
Sadism/Masochism/Sadomasichism
