🎭 Campaign Style & Player Expectations

As we prepare to enter a new chapter in the campaign, I'm looking for two dedicated players to join the group as martial class front-liners. If you thrive in a character-driven, roleplay-heavy story, this might be your place at the table.

This campaign highlights relationships, personal goals, and emotional storytelling. Combat is present and meaningful, but it takes a backseat for this campaign.

If you're drawn to theatrical roleplay, conflict, and long-term consequences, you’ll feel right at home.

⚠️ Content & Themes

• This is an 18+ game with themes including drama, trauma, and moral dilemmas.
• No SA or graphic content. Fade-to-black is used when appropriate.
• Romance is welcome (PC/PC or PC/NPC), but only with consent and tasteful handling.
• Triggers, lines, or boundaries will be agreed upon.
• Include your favorite season in the application so that I know you've read through this.

• System: D&D 5e (2014) – allowed resources are PHB, DMG, XGtE, TCoE, MotM
• Platform: Voice via Discord, VTT via Foundry
• RP / Combat Ratio: 75% Roleplay, 25% Combat
• Level: Level 4, milestone leveling
• Game Length: Open-ended – until the story’s natural end
• Session Length: ~3–3.5 hours with breaks
• New players welcome if you’re committed to the storytelling and group dynamic

Hi! I’m Alex, your DM.

I’m Southeast Asian, but I've been speaking English for over a decade. Outside of TTRPGs, I enjoy indie games with a good story, such as Citizen Sleeper 2 or Keep Driving, which inspire how I run my games.

I’ve been playing TTRPGs for 5+ years, with a style focused on narrative depth, realism, and meaningful consequences. I love weaving backstories into the plot, building emotional moments, and watching players shape the world I created.

• I’m a reactive DM, I build off your choices and character decisions, though I’ll step in when the story demands it.
• It’s always players first: No railroading. I support creative solutions and player agency.
• I use lots of visuals: detailed maps, character portraits, and scenes to bring the world to life.
