The Last Light

The sun sets too early now. The stars whisper in tongues best left unheard. The gods are dead—or hiding—and magic has grown wild and unpredictable.

A millennium ago, something shattered the world. No one remembers the moment it happened—only the chaos that followed: land torn into floating shards, time unraveling at the edges, and the sky split with rifts to planes that should never touch. Elemental storms rage across once-fertile valleys. Hellish fire scorches the sea. Abyssal growths fester in ruined cities, pulsing with corrupt life.

Magic runs wild and untamed, surging in waves or vanishing entirely. Spells twist in the casting, sometimes blooming into miracles… or exploding into catastrophe. The boundaries between worlds bleed, and creatures that wander the wilds are touched by this arcane sickness—mutated, maddened, and terrifyingly powerful.

Amid the wreckage stands Hollowmere, the last bastion of civilization. Its flickering beacon holds the planar tides at bay—for now. But the light dims, and shadows press ever closer. In this unraveling world, even hope must be tempered with fear.

You are wanderers, outcasts, or the last surviving heirs of power. Touched by the very chaos that devours the world, you may be its final hope—or its final mistake.

The world is broken. Magic is madness. And something hungry waits in the dark.
