The Plague of Duvik's Pass

A sickness has come unto the simple mining community of Duvik’s Pass, poisoning their wells and blighting their crops. With the pestilence leaving the strongest men of the town’s guard a few short days away from death, the burden of descending into the mines and purging the wellspring of whatever evil has settled there falls to an intrepid band of adventurers. Can these noble heroes prevail within the depths of Duvik’s Pass, or will they too fall victim to the perils of The Burning Plague ?

This adventure is a classic D&D 3.0 adventure called The Burning Plague. Though it is based on the original idea, this adventure was originally for a group of Level 1 Adventurers. My version has been re-designed and modified for higher level characters and has had many things added on to make it more challenging.

For new players: You can make a D&D 3.5 character of level 8. I am open to pretty much whichever race/class you want, but to be honest, I really don't want any necromancer stuff cause we have a characters that does that kind of thing already. I also ask that you work together with the other members of the group. Also, if you have certain feats/skills I am not familiar with, please explain them during the game so it'll keep things running smooth. Roll5d6 and drop the 2 lowest numbers for basic stats. Starting gold is 10,000gp and you can choose 2 items from the DM guide or Magic Item compendium up to 5,000gp value (or 1 item worth 5,000 gp). You can also enchant a weapon and/or armor (+1 for 2,000gp, +2 for 4,000gp). My games tend to be more combat based, but I don't mind some role-playing and the chance to roll the dice to use your skills in certain situations. The adventure will probably take a few sessions to get through. any questions, feel free to ask :)

This game is open to new players. If you make a character and enjoy the game play, I usually try to do a game every couple weeks and you're welcome to reuse a character. We usually have 6-10 players
