Tyranny of the Dragonqueen

The Cult of the Dragon Queen has been active in Faerûn for many centuries. The Cult is well known among inhabitants of Faerun for it's maniacal ambitions dangerous plans, and utter hatred towards the followers of other deities. Worship of the Dragonqueen is outlawed in most lands; The most important thing for this faith is power and wealth, and there were very few limits to the depravities and perversions Tiamat's worshipers are wiling to commit in the pursuit of such goals. Her clerics are most known for the twin tasks of acquiring an ever-increasing hoard of wealth for the faith and sabotaging the faiths of other deities. As a result, they occupied most of their time with an unending series of thefts, assassinations, acts of vandalism, and arson. For the past several days, you have been traveling a road that winds lazily across the rolling grasslands of the Greenfields. Sundown is approaching when you top a rise and see the town of Greenest just a few short miles away. But instead of the pleasant, welcoming town you expected, you see columns of black smoke rising from burning buildings, running figures that are little more than dots at this distance, and a dark, winged shape wheeling low over the keep that rises above the center of the town. Greenest is being attacked by a dragon!
