The Develidon Conquest

For over 50 years the Develidon wars have raged over the continent of Selbex. Develidon army is at war with the neighboring kingdoms of The Wreck, Redwall. All sides are getting desperate as the fighting drags on.

Develidon is a old standing Kingdom founded over a thousand years ago. It has recently experienced an industrial revolution. With punishments against law breakers being harsh, people have to stay in line. The King of Develidon, king Malidus has been sworn in over 50 years ago to replace the old blood line. After an event known as the night of blood the kingdom has turned against the old founder's bloodline. Part of the city is suffering from a plague and is quarantined.

In the kingdom of Yerlein things are hard. The kingdom has recently been conquered and is now under the control of Develidon. Yerlein was the first kingdom to fall under Develidon's rule. King Malidus said the reason for the war was to help the kingdom due to it being poor. But rumors are it was all a lie to seize the land and people. A rebellion is forming in order to depose Develidon's rule and the puppet leader of the land Count Bladrick Hammond.

In the lands of the Wreck build from old ships from the old flood. the land was thriving under its democratic council lead by councilors of five members. The capital city of the wreck is split up into 4 sections. misconduct (The middle-class homes), Eve's refuge (Where goods are sold), Aqua Pulp (Where the city council meets), and the tulip (The slums of the city). Each district is made of the remains of boats that where part of the city. The Wreck has been at war with Develidon for 15 years. Develidon claims that it was because of plans of an unprovoked attack from The Wreck. But the Wreck claims they hade no such plans. There is a lot of dislike for Develidon amongst the citizens of the Wreck. As for the city council members. Illaad Qluerr was born in the tulip, but through his love of politics he quickly gained popularity. He has been donating a lot of money to the slums, and has been known to go their to help with charities. Tirk was born in misconduct from a family of merchants, recently there has been a scandal about her pardoning her brother, after reports of him getting drunk and punching someone in the middle of town. Enrel was born in Aqua Pulp. There is rumors she is prone to nepotism, with her naming her sister head of treasury, and her Aqua Pulp uncle mayor of a smaller town. There has been rumors of curription going on with her. Glem was also born in Aqua Pulp, she has been investing alot with the war and has supported Illaad with his donations to the slums.

Then there's Redwall. A dictatorship lead by their king Fas. It is very militaristic and has the second hugest standing army next to Develidon. No weapons are allowed within city lines. And anyone caught breaking the law has a chance to be sentenced to execution, a beating, are drafted into the war.

There's the Techs Believe that technology should be advanced and for the people. What they lack in strength they make up for in their technology. They are isolated and tend to use robots as soldiers. There leader is unknown but is known to be in total control of the Faction. There main base is unknown. According to Develidon they plan to use their technology to conquer the world.

There is the Blood Tribe. They are a tribe of war loving orcs and goblins. The majority of them are nomadic but they have a main camp set up for their main warlord. They are constantly fighting amongst each other, so their leadership is constantly changing. Their current leader is an orc named Mogbog the rotten. They raid and loot without mercy. Their main base is known as the camp.

The Divinity of Eyes: Are made up of the remnants of the Eyes Upon us, a cult that existed before the flooded area. The Eyes Upon us was known for the amount of atrocities they commitet including almost causing the end of the world. The original members died, this one is made up of the family members of the old members. They are shut in faction and are very isolated. They have taken annexed the area that was once no mans land. They believe that the Lobster God should return, and that the flood will be the salvation. Their leader is Grand bishop Vorciar.

Frost peak is located to the northeast of Develidon. It is isolated from the war due to its location. Almost nothing I'd known about it from outsiders with some questioning its very existence.

Slaves from the city from during the flood. They were made up of prisoners polictal prisoners, and just plain people unlucky. They have fled to the west in order to get a better life. Their descendants are still alive but the community has suffered, through many hardships including but not limited to most of their members being killed in the war, lack of resources, bigotry, Natural disasters, illness, complications with their cybernetics.

The party will start off at level 2.
