The kingdom of Medastra used to be a realm where all species thrived in peaceful coexistence. However, due to the evil counsel of a shadowy mastermind, the king suddenly turned against nonhumans, ordering bloody purges and cruel banishment, reshaping once-cosmopolitan cities into hives of mindless conformity, and annihilating the few that resist his cruel hand.

The small township of Whiterock, once a quiet port town of diverse cultures, was a victim of this horrific “reinvention,” its nonhuman citizens cast out or imprisoned, their humble but earnest local government forcibly replaced with a cadre of royalist toadies and glory hounds.

In the face of such horrific adversity it is almost too easy to give up. But you can’t. Not you, of all people. For you are Partisans–the flickering remnants of the old order, a ragtag bunch of Whiterock citizens banding together to repel the shadow of autocracy, or die in the glorious attempt.

But the clock is ticking. Prince Tristan, the Butcher Prince, is bringing his marauding army to stamp out rebellion. Now you must find a way to rally the people’s hope and fight back before everything is lost.

Starting Equipment: Normal starting equipment + 500 + 1 Uncommon magic item of your choice
