Werewolf The Apocalypse: Tomorrow Never Came

The Year is 1990.

In the wake of the Soviet Union's fall, the small country of Romania has cleansed itself of communist control. Their bloody regime that fed the Wyrm with cruelty and incompetence is gone at last. However, it is a short lived hope

Within the shadows, the agents of the Wyrm are already on the move. In the cities, a plague of violence and civil unrest is taking root; in the countryside, fear mongering and paranoia runs rampant, fueled by sights of unaccounted for werewolves. A blanket of despair is choking out the country's hope, they are here.
No longer barred by the iron curtain, and seeking new land to bleed dry, the enemies of the Garou have arrived, and with them a plot to take control of the renewed Romania.

Sensing the encroaching darkness, the thinly spread werewolves of Transylvania have decided to task an untested pack to investigate these phenomena and foil the plot of Gaia's enemies.

Putting aside the dramatics: hello, this is a game of Werewolf: The Apocalypse 5th Edition. This is my second attempt at running this system, because my first run did not work out so well. Mostly due to scheduling mishaps with a few of my players, not to the fault of any of them, just the timing of everything.

With that out of the way, let me clarify a bit more about the game. This is set in Romania, roughly around the region of Transilvaniya (and some more) and is meant as an introduction game. Both to W5 and also to the World of Darkness werewolves, meant to be somewhat short to moderate campaign, it will be comprised of a single arc, telling the story of a newly formed pack of werwolves, going (if briefly) trough each member's 1st change, a tiral to earn their spot amongst their tribe, and finally their mission to foil a Pentax expansion plot. I am considering running a long-term sequel to this chronicle at some point in the distant future.

As a brief introduction, my name is Marius, 26 years old (he/him). I am a somewhat experienced GM, but still a bit new to Werewolf specifically. My style is more towards "rule of cool'' and i like to utilize my players' backstory elements into the plot as much and as effectively as possible within my abilities. I adore narrative drama and stories revolving around personal conflict. However, I do not shy away from humor and levity when it fits the situation, especially when the tone calls for it. Largely because we are ultimately here to have fun!
