Why do rogues wear leather armor? Because it’s made of hide. 🥷

Chosen Heroes

Campaign Hook

The world is still trying to recover from the Bloodfall War.

Decades ago, the nations of the world fought a brutal war against the Demon King. The fighting was so savage that it shattered kingdoms, ruined cities, and killed heroes and monsters alike. When the war finally ended, no one had the strength to keep going. Old enemies, bitter allies, and frightened rulers agreed to a ceasefire. None of them trusted each other, but all of them knew another war would finish what the last one started.

To keep that peace, they chose a different way to settle conflict. They claimed a neutral stretch of land and made it a place where each nation could send its best to compete, learn, and prove its strength without throwing whole armies into battle. Over time, that ground changed. The trials became lessons. The camps became halls. The old proving field became Wyrmrest.

Now Wyrmrest stands as a school, a fortress, and a political battleground. Every land sends its finest, or its most dangerous, to study there. Some students come to earn glory. Some are sent to watch rivals. Some are meant to serve as bargaining pieces. Some never wanted to come at all. No matter the reason, you were chosen. Now you are here, and the years ahead may shape not just your life, but the next age of the world.

Campaign Details

This will be a Dungeons and Dragons 5e Campaign in a homebrew setting. We will conduct it with Roll20 visuals, Discord audio, and no face video. There will be a mix on character RP, backstory and combat. Leveling is done by milestone.

I am looking for players who are creative, driven, and flexible. Be prepared for large amounts of RP as well as some combat.

This is a heavily homebrewed game and setting, and therefore will have various differences in how it plays. Various different unique features, lessons and abilities will be gained through the games classes and affect your characters growth. You will be part of a 'team' with your fellow players, and have to vote with other members on the best way to lead forth your characters education, and their goals.

Please post a short introduction in the "Player Application" below, along with your top 2 character concepts for the setting. If you are chosen we can expand upon your character and I can give you more information for the setting to help flesh out your character.

This game will be played every week. Good sound quality is a requirement. Players who miss sessions repeatedly will be dropped. New players are welcome as well.
