Innistrad

Welcome to Innistrad, where humans are beset on all sides by multitudes of horrors. Now that Avacyn has disappeared, humanity is being pushed into a corner by an encroaching darkness that threatens to consume them.

This is a weekly game which I anticipate to take 5-10 sessions to complete.

No knowledge of Magic the Gathering is required. General information on Innistrad can be found here. Minor alterations have been made to fit Innistrad within the D&D cosmology.

Since the story of Innistrad centers around humanity's struggle, the only allowed race is human. The variant in the PHB is allowed, as well as the variants in this supplement:

All non-race material published by WOTC is allowed, including Unearthed Arcana (using the most recent versions). Feats and multiclassing are allowed.
In addition, the following rules and options apply:
-Diagonals count as 1.5 movement.
-A short rest takes only 5 minutes.
-When using the lucky feat with disadvantage, a luck point can be used to replace the result of the first two rolls, but not to take the best of the three rolls.
-Stats are rolled as 4d6d1 within the tabletop. You may then choose to use a 27 point buy if you dislike the results.
-All backgrounds are available as well as custom backgrounds as per the PHB.
-Exotic languages are available at the cost of two languages. An additional standard language, Vampiric, is available which is an older form of common.

Players start at level 1 and start with equipment granted by class and background. Prior to the game starting, you may buy anything in the PHB at cost, and sell anything at 1/4 cost.
