Fifteen years ago, falling stars shattered the city and left madness in their wake. Now the ruins crawl with monsters, rival factions, occult secrets, and strange crystalline shards known as delerium.
Sorcerers, scoundrels, knights, cultists, and kings all want a piece of the fallen city. Some seek wealth. Some seek forbidden magic. Some seek redemption, revenge, or the throne itself.
What will you seek in Drakkenheim?
In this dark fantasy campaign, your party will explore a ruined city full of dangerous streets, haunted cathedrals, hidden laboratories, contaminated districts, and desperate factions fighting over the future of the realm. Your choices will shape not only your own survival, but the fate of Drakkenheim itself.
This campaign takes characters from level 1 to level 13 and includes:
20+ urban adventure locations across the ruined city
15+ new subclasses from the wider Drakkenheim setting
Dozens of new monsters, factions, NPCs, magic items, and crafting options
Content from Dungeons of Drakkenheim, Sebastian Crowe’s Guide to Drakkenheim, and Monsters of Drakkenheim
A mix of exploration, faction intrigue, tactical combat, horror, mystery, and high-stakes character choices
Enter the ruins. Choose your allies carefully. Beware the occult whispers.
Survive the Dungeons of Drakkenheim.
Hey folks, you can call me Ryan!
I’ve been DMing since the original release of 5th Edition in 2014, and professionally since 2020. Over the last few years, I’ve run Dungeons of Drakkenheim to completion for multiple groups, along with dozens of one-shots set in the wider world of Drakkenheim.
This is one of my favorite campaigns to run because it gives players real freedom: dangerous choices, complicated factions, meaningful consequences, and plenty of room for memorable character moments.
I’m looking for players who enjoy collaborative storytelling, party teamwork, roleplay, tactical decisions, and engaging with the world rather than trying to “beat” the game. Please read the Apply Here section carefully so you can get a feel for the table, the expectations, and the kind of players who will thrive in this campaign.
I’m looking forward to reading your applications and delving together into the cursed ruins of...
The Dungeons of Drakkenheim!
