Ever wanted to travel to scenic locations?
Love to interact with active, friendly people?
Love backpacking through forests and mountains, seeing plants and wildlife?
Will no longer be accepting applications after midnight. You people are not making this decision easy.
Then Barovia is for you! We are currently in negotiations with the Barovian Travel Association to allow scheduled trips to the beautiful country. Apply now, as spots are filling fast.
Have had the Curse of Strahd book for about a week now, and am working to set up the campaign. It will be weekly, Tuesday nights at 8pm. Will probably start on the third of May, though might try to start a week earlier if able.
A mic is mandatory and we will likely use Skype, unless someone proposes a solid alternative, like teamspeak. Cameras are optional and we may not even use them.
Looking for a diverse party to brave the harrows of the Barovian countryside. Will keep the listing open for about a week or so. If you have multiple characters you might want to use, you may submit up to two, but I will only pick one. Campaign will initially begin in Forgotten Realms, but won't stay long. Feel free to have your character originate in a FR settlement/location if you wish, but it is by no means required. Mainly a detail for people super-into the FR lore.
Message me with any questions.
Important update/details: Any canon content for 5e is allowed, unless I say otherwise. So SCAG, Unearthed Arcana, the new UA Gothic Character options, and content from DMsguild.com is legit. Like Mathew Mercer's Blood Hunter class. (Huge Critical Roll fan in the house)
Another update: Due to a question from one of the applicants, I will clarify this. You will roll for stats in-game before the campaign starts. A standard 4d6 per stat, keep the best 3. If you get some really shit stats, I have no problem giving you a reroll, unless you want the shit stat for rp purposes, because I definitely get that.
Just want to say that I have seen many interesting characters, some detailed and some not. As the end of my application acceptance closes in, I am sad that I can't accept more of you.
