Trouble in Oakhaven (Draw Steel)

Background:
-House Vadalis is the dragonmarked house of handling. They specialize in handling monsters and animals and breeding them. Many of the nations of Eberron use them for various purposes, war beasts, better animals for farming, etc.…
-Eldeen Reaches: Think fertile farm lands with pockets of vast forests.

Pitch: In the quiet borderlands of the Eldeen Reaches sits Oakhaven, a pastoral village known for breeding prized, magically-infused livestock for House Vadalis. But a shadow has fallen over the community. Every new moon, prize animals vanish from locked pens without a trace. No blood, no broken fences—just gone.
The dragonmarked house blames wild predators, but the local farmers know better. The tracks left behind don't match anything in nature, and a strange, glowing residue has been found in the woods.
You are a band of local protectors, mercenaries, House agents, or whatever reason you desire but you have been hired by the desperate villagers to stop the animals from disappearing. But as you follow the trail deep into the uncharted wilds, you'll quickly realize that you aren't just hunting a beast... you're walking into something far more calculated, and far more dangerous.

Note: We are using Draw Steel rules with a Daggerheart collective story telling twist. With that in mind, think about what kind of animals Oakhaven breeds, have you been to this town before or do you know anyone in this town, have you heard any rumors surrounding why the animals are going missing, and are there any notable landmarks surrounding the village?

The new moon is rising soon, what will you do?
