Clock Watch - Discworld RPG One Shot [homebrew]

Large Phil is the famous Predictive Clock of Ankh-Morpork. Unerring in its prognosticatory capacities, Large Phil has the remarkable ability to constantly predict with unwavering accuracy what the precise time will be exactly twenty minutes from now. Simply look at the big and little hands, and that’s exactly what the time would be twenty minutes hence. This slightly famous and somewhat loved landmark has looked down from his home above the Monks of Prediction's temple on Little Free Tobet Street for over thirty years. Until yesterday, when he was discovered missing. Or, rather, he was not discovered when a remarkable absence of Large Phil was noticed where Large Phil should have been. Weirdly, the Monks of Prediction claim not to have seen this coming.

As members of the City Watch you will be tasked with solving the theft of Large Phil, and bringing the perpetrators to justice or at the very least seeing them break the crust of the Ankh. Commander Vimes has reminded you to accomplish this task with the minimum of paperwork and to protect the innocent, if you find any.

Can the City Watch's newest recruits crack the case in time, or will they turn out to be the little hand of the law?

Good luck, and welcome to The Watch.

Hi, I'm Nik, an experienced pro GM running a fun, silly little Discworld one-shot this Friday. Bring on your best puns, your cheesiest one-liners and your deepest and most unexpected insights into the craziness of the human condition.

Character creation is quick and simple, so we will be making characters together at the start of the session.

New/beginner players welcome. The system is hugely based around jokes, puns and wordplay, so whether that's your jam or not will be the biggest factor on whether this is the right game for you.
