WELCOME!

ABOUT ME

I'm a full-time professional Game Master who has been running long-form tabletop RPG campaigns since shortly before COVID. I specialize in immersive, character-driven stories where player choices matter and the world responds to their actions. I have been GMing for approximately 12 years.

As a GM, I'm heavily influenced by settings rich in mystery, atmosphere, and deep worldbuilding. My goal is to create living worlds, memorable characters, and campaigns where players feel invested in both the story and the people around them.

THE GAME

This campaign uses the Dragon Age RPG and is intended to be a long-term, story-driven adventure focused on investigation, exploration, political intrigue, ancient history, and difficult choices.

The average session will last approximately 3 hours with a short break in the middle.

Combat is meaningful and dangerous, but it is not the primary focus of the campaign. Many of the greatest challenges can be overcome through diplomacy, knowledge, planning, exploration, and the relationships you build throughout Thedas.

New players are welcome, and no prior knowledge of Dragon Age is required.

THE STORY

The Breach has been sealed. Corypheus is dead. The Inquisition has fallen.

Yet across Thedas, troubling signs continue to emerge.

Grey Wardens report strange dreams from the Deep Roads. Ancient ruins reveal evidence of civilizations older than history records. Red lyrium spreads where it should not exist. Whispers speak of forgotten gods, sleeping powers beneath the earth, and truths that powerful people would kill to keep buried.

In response, a secret successor to the Inquisition has begun gathering agents willing to investigate mysteries that threaten the future of Thedas.

Your journey will take you from the courts of Orlais to the depths of the Deep Roads, from Dalish legends to forgotten temples buried beneath the earth. Along the way, you will uncover hidden connections between the Titans, the Evanuris, the Blights, and the remaining Old Gods.

Some truths were lost. Others were hidden. Some were never meant to be discovered.

CHARACTERS

Characters will be created together during Session 0.

All characters begin at Level 1 using the Dragon Age RPG Core Rulebook. Additional material may be approved on a case-by-case basis.

During Session 0 we will:

• Create characters together
• Establish party connections and shared history
• Discuss personal goals and motivations
• Determine how each character became involved with the organization
• Review campaign themes and expectations

Grey Wardens, scholars, scouts, rogues, mages, soldiers, diplomats, nobles, explorers, merchants, and agents of many different organizations can all fit naturally within the campaign.

Characters who are curious, proactive, and interested in uncovering secrets will have the most opportunities to shine.

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • Ancient mysteries buried beneath Thedas
  • Political intrigue and competing factions
  • Exploration of forgotten ruins and lost civilizations
  • Difficult choices with lasting consequences
  • Rich NPCs with goals, motivations, and secrets
  • Character-focused stories and personal development
  • Investigation, research, and discovery
  • Relationships that matter
  • Moral dilemmas without easy answers
  • A living world that responds to player actions

MY GM STYLE

I focus heavily on storytelling, immersion, roleplay, exploration, and meaningful player choice.

I use detailed maps, handouts, ambient music, and character voices when appropriate to help bring the setting to life.

While I enjoy tactical combat, combat is not the primary focus of this campaign. Most challenges can be approached through investigation, diplomacy, planning, exploration, knowledge, or creative problem-solving.

I generally follow the rules as written, but I value pacing, fairness, and dramatic storytelling over strict technical interpretations. If a ruling is unclear, I will make a quick decision during play and research it afterward if necessary.

Creative ideas are encouraged. If you have a clever plan that fits the world and the story, I will usually look for ways to help it succeed rather than reasons it cannot work.

The world will react to your actions. Allies can become enemies, enemies can become allies, and the future of Thedas may ultimately depend on the choices your characters make.
