One Piece D&D: Sovereign Seas

It has been 20 years since a great man's words changed the world. "You want my treasure? you can have it! Search for it!" He said as two sharp spears were to pierce his back moments later. "I hid it all somewhere in One Piece!". Seconds later the life fled from his body as the spears intruded. That day he turned to legend. This- of course -was no other than the Pirate King himself. Gol. D. Roger. Many men set sail in numbers ranging thousands, all in search of the One Piece. A name was coined for this new era: The Golden Age of Piracy. Gol. D. Roger hid it well, though. 20 years later the legendary treasure is still to be found...

You find yourself on the Pirate Bay, the name alluding to it's funtion. Pirates come and go in it's docks and marines don't seem to do a thing. By the orders of the vice admiral that commands over the island, no pirates are to be harmed, captured or prevented from business by marine action as long as they behave. The exact details as to why are faint rumors and whispers shared over lots of ale and loud music.

As a result of a unacting marine presence, the pirate bay sells near anything man could ever hope to buy. There's no shortage of ships for new crews to set sail on. For those who justice is all that calls, the main recruitment and training facility in the west blue is situated on the pirate bay. Posters in gloomy alleys and cloaked figures in sketchy bars call to those who believe this "Justice" is nothing but a coux to opress.

Hi there, I'm Gijs and i'll be the one Dm'ing this game. I'm 16 and looking for some One Piece lovers around the same age to play some D&D. It's set in an alternate universe, so don't expect to meet Luffy in this game. The next few point are important before you apply and for the game in general.

• We will be using Roll20 as a VTT and Discord for communication,

• We wont be using AI for pictures or to write. I don't use AI for pictures or to write either

• Any blatant homophobia, transphobia, sexism or racism will NOT be tolerated. Be respectful to other players no matter what.

• I’m looking for players around my age, as this will be a Teen D&D group.

• Beginners are very welcome, though it might not be the best game due to the sheer amount of Homebrew.

• We will be playing at european times, my time is GMT+1 (Netherlands), so make sure it fits in your schedule. We will be playing on fridays at 8PM.

• Have a decent mic and preferably a pc to run Roll20 and Discord.

• The game will be played in 5e 2014, with a One Piece Homebrew (Link found below).

• We will be starting at 3rd level, so keep that in mind when thinking up a character.

• Be open to write a small backstory for your character!

• Only certain races will be used, view the allowed races below.
