The grand city was supposed to soar into the heavens. Instead, it's buried beneath your feet, and its factions are still fighting over the wreckage.
A hundred years ago, an empire poured everything into the Uplift, a ritual to lift a city into the sky forever. It failed. Generations later, you were born into what's left: collapsed spires, flooded plazas, and someone in the buried archives quietly reassembling the ritual that doomed the city the first time.
