“Our world is fresh, and our faith is young. Our gods are not great pantheons that actively fight for worship. They are not omnipotent beings that solve all our problems, as that is not how we imagine them. They are the faces we assign to our prayers so we can explain why our world works the way it does. Tell me, dear, what happens when we’ve been imagining gods for the past millennium, yet no one dared to imagine the god of the dead?” -Tsarevna Katarzyna Opalińska
The rules are broken because no one took responsibility for managing them. The consequences have reached the small village you live in. You could stay at home and fight alone, but that is not what you were taught. It will take more than you and your friends to fix the world, yet perhaps you can be there to adjust the path and guide those who also wish to change it.
Will you choose to protect the past? To carve out a new future? Or to follow your own path?
I welcome both new players and seasoned veterans. I have run DnD5e, SWN, Blades in the Dark and SW by FFG but PF2e is new to me. My personal GM style is in balancing RP with exploration/investigation and combat serving mostly to further the plot and my "power fantasy" is letting players be the heroes who make the world a better place. It's alright if you don't know how to or have never tried PF - you're welcome as long as you are willing to tell a story of your own character. If you are all about powergaming and numbers you might look for another GM - my adventures will not proceed if players don't want to talk or may lead to "the doomed world you have created." I will not demand you make up voices or be serious all the time, but you are expected to know how to stay in character and to take the game seriously.
Rule-wise I will stick to the Core until I get used to the system. You don't have to know rules by heart, but you must have access to them (I will help here) and have general knowledge of where to find different rules. We will use Foundry VTT so it will help a lot with references and automation of some rules. Knowledge of your class is key as I will learn how it works along with you.
So if you wish to give it a try, leave your application in a topic below and you may want to read the "Tips for applications" and "About Slovos" for extra details.
