(old) Serpent's Skull: The City of Seven Spears

Hey! We're one module into the Serpent's Skull Adventure Path that will take the characters to around level 18! The first module isn't too important to the story, so it's no problem missing out on that. Characters are currently on 5th level. This is where we're at in the story:

The party has found the way to Saventh-Yhi, a fabled Azlanti city in the jungles of the Mwangi expanse, that no-one has ever been able to find. The description of the way to the city was found in a Azlanti temple on a island that is rarely visited by anyone except smugglers and pirates, and rarely left by anyone including them. The party has decided on cooperating with the pathfinders to organize an expedition to Tazion, the Azlanti outpost that holds the secret to revealing the location of Saventh-Yhi, an expedition where the party will be the group moving first - finding the way to Tazion and trying to do so with speed to reach there before anyone else. Also mounting expeditions to Tazion are the Aspis Consortion, a general from the Sargavan government, a group of pirates from the Free Captains of the Shackles, and assassins from the infamous Red Mantis Assassins; they're all trying to reach Tazion first in order to get ahead of the others with the exploration of Saventh-Yhi. Currently, after having their warehouse with expedition equipment burned down, the party is quite frustrated as they find out the Aspis Consortium leaves town before them. Still in Eleder (capital of Sargava) for one week, they prepare to help the pathfinders gather equipment and will perhaps steal equipment from one of the other factions that are still in town.

You will likely enter the game as someone hired by (or a member of) the pathfinders. Your character will start at level 5 with the appropriate wealth. Other characters in the party are all neutral or good, classes are: wizard, slayer, monk, rogue. The character we lost due to player dropping out was the one casting (a few) divine spells, and tanking (a lot). Mostly the tanking is something the group needs, as there are wands and potions for (mostly out of combat) healing. You can discuss and create your character after being invited to the game however.

I, the DM, am 27 years old and from Sweden. I'm sort of new to pathfinder, so I don't know the rules of the game as well as my players. It works well though. When in doubt, I decide and we roll something and we'll see what happends.

For your application, I'd like you to write a bit about yourself - how do you like to play, what do you like to play, what do you expect from a group, anything like that - an introduction. Put in your age and location as well. We'll play Sunday 14-18 (Central European Time) each week, so I'll expect you to plan on being there every week (even though of course life comes in the way every now and then). Character description not required, but you may add one if you wish.
Character creation will be done by 20 point buy, you'll be encouraged to play the core races but I wont be too restrictive with the more uncommon ones. You will be allowed to play the more strange half-demon, half-undead and all that, races only if you do plan on writing a good background that will describe well the sort of position you, considering your strangeness, have in society. Races not found under "featured races" in the race book will probably not be allowed. No particular restriction on classes. Only Paizo stuff though. New players are welcome.
