The Mossfeld

The Mossfeld is a large swampy region full of a proud hearty people who are steep with tradition and family farms spreading out across the marsh, the people of the Mossfeld are well known for their strength, wit, and hospitality, one such show of this is the Harvest Festival which is held in honor of the god Lathander, the Morninglord, Patron of athletics and vitality, the festival is well known for its food ale and contests of strength which test the mind and metal of all who choose to compete.
though not all is laughter and carefree living in the swamps, rumors of shadows sneaking through the forests, beasts lurking in the waters, and whispers of a black shadow looming over the area, with the dangers of the swamp ever present, the people cling tightly to the Festivals promise of a few days respite from the worries of the harsh realities of life in the Mossfeld.
