Pathfinder Homebrew: A World's Crossroads

TIME: Sunday TBA, usually around noon PDT. I'll be DMing.

Overview: Homebrew Pathfinder campaign at starting level 5. Any compelling, non game-breaking character idea/abilities whatsoever goes--damage etc. will simply be scaled to fit the campaign. First session Sunday, 7/17. Freeform playstyle. Core mechanics taken from Pathfinder, dynamic homebrew addons to create an interesting, fast-paced game with immersive roleplaying and without getting bogged down in time-consuming technicalities.

Currently looking for at least two players to roll with a party of 5 (allows two absentees before rescheduling). All I need from you:

  • A level 5 character sheet
  • Some assurance that you know the basic game mechanics
  • Enthusiasm and responsiveness. Kindly do not sign up out of boredom to play one session.
  • Willingness to embrace a free form play style. If I say a touch attack hits and you are thrown across the room, that does not mean look up 10 pages of grappling mechanics so that the round can take a half hour.
  • While I am open to discussion, I would prefer to keep a ~18+ group, mainly for the purpose of dark and/or violent themes. This rendition of Golarion is hash and unforgiving; any sort of censorship on my part hinders roleplay immersion.

Note that I have not given any mention of the campaign itself, other than that it is set in some form of Golarion. My campaign does not constrain you to a particular path while giving you the illusion of freedom. If the party wants X in the campaign, you can be certain it will be there next session, or even later that same session if I get a few minutes of planning time during a party discussion or whatnot.
