Heyo! This campaign is for all those zombie lovers who want to experience the horrors of the apocalypse and the drama and hardship that comes with it. This campaign will be offering drama and story similar to "The Walking Dead" wherein survival gets harder and harder with each day that passes and focus on characters and interaction along with their survival of the harsh world they were forced into. The story will take place in recently post apocalyptic England in London with zombies being mixed from having fast shamblers to slow stumbling zombies. We are going to be using a system that I have recently taken a liking to named SilCore with a few homerules to balance out zombies. I have the PDFs for the game and will be teaching it to anyone new to the system along with a tutorial skirmish to teach you the difficulty level of this campaign.
-Heavy character roleplay (It's the zombie apocalypse, people are going to cry and/or die)
-Intense combat and fighting play
-Quite a few survival elements
-Realism (We would like to keep characters and events to a realistic standard meaning no crazy weapons like rocket sledges. Although realistic creativity like weapon modding is fine (i.e. razors attached to a metal pole, spiked baseball bat, rifle with pen pointer, binoculars turned zoom scope etc), assuming you have the skills)
-Base and Vehicle construction and use
-Exploration with random encounters
-Territory Conflict (Probably)
-A downtime period for character development and roleplay (The GM will let you do 1on1 talks/roleplays with characters you are with when the session ends or you can interact with another player character if you both agree)
-A fun time
-Commitment to the game
-Immersive characters (Basically good roleplaying skills)
-Serious roleplay style (although too many Edgelords make your RP go grey)
-4 or more hours per session
-A willingness to take part in interplayer character relations (Inter player romances are allowed if wanted but is not necessary for players to partake in)
-To have fun
The game begins before the apocalypse so make your characters with that assumption in mind.
We have applications for both players and a CoGM in the discussions. Weekly time and day is set in stone.
