Zombie Apocalypse RPG- UNDEATH

Undeath is a fully homebrewed zombie-apocalypse roleplaying system derived with the idea of having a fleshed out and in depth ruleset. As a player, I have used various systems, none of which encompassed the horror and survival areas which would make a zombie ‘sim’ possible, nor have I found any in-depth systems made for a zombie apocalypse setting. This system was made in order to allow for these survival and horror elements, as well as a modern setting with gunplay and slightly more realistic combat. If these goals don’t align with your preferences I suggest you try a different game. Many elements of UNDEATH will be familiar to players of Dungeons and Dragons and other RPG’s.

It’s not a forgiving system. Human v human combat will almost certainly end in maiming or death on both sides, not because enemies are stronger or better than players, but because they are on a level playing field and healing methods are all very slow and limited. Without outsmarting your enemy, you will not leave combat unscathed, and wounds don’t heal easily. Exhaustion, injury, thirst and hunger will slow players down, making them easy targets for the undead.

The undead are meant to be a mystery. One of the biggest zombie tropes is that the characters are unaware of what’s actually going on, they don’t have any idea of how the zombies work except for when they learn through experience. This is very important to this game, which is why nothing in the player's manual explains them.

Please give this a quick look if you're interested and post a listing telling me a little bit about yourself and what you're looking for. New players are definitely welcome, but I would like experienced RPG players to help give feedback.

ALSO IMPORTANT: This system has been playtested multiple times, but not to any significant depth. I'd like to think I'm a good GM and I do my best, but even I forget my own rules since I've changed them so drastically from their original format.
