Iron Gods

You will soon be armed with chainsaws and laser pistols; wearing gravity suits and powered armor; installing cybernetics and dosing themselves with nanites; fighting robots, aliens, androids, AIs, and cyborgs; and much, much more! You can also expect to find magic swords, dragons, vile undead, evil wizards, and examples of all those beloved fantasy tropes as well-just seen through a slightly different lens.

Iron Gods Player's Guide

The Campaign: We are playing Iron Gods (converted to 5e). It is set in Pathfinder's Golarion so experience with PF is helpful, but not necessary.

• Day/Time: Tuesday: weekly from 19:00-23:00 Central European Time (CET). That is 1pm-5:00pm Eastern Standard Time and 10am-2:00pm Pacific Time.
• DM Experience: I've been DMing for about 4 years. PF originally and now 5e. I've been a player for many years - mainly 3, 3.5, 4e, PF, and 5e. I'm also the author of the Shaped 5e sheet.
• Houserules:
  • Feats are split into half sizes
  • Skills condensed to 13
  • Healing Surges
  • Fort/Ref/Will saving throws
  • Sorcerer and monk reword (see link in classes)
  • Psionic Classes (in progress)
  • TWF at 11+ has slightly higher DPR
  • Spells rebalanced (ongoing) Spell Balance
• RP/Combat Ration: About 40% Combat, 40% exploration, and 20% RP, but it depends on players.

About You:
We are looking for a reliable players that can commit to a multi-year campaign. This will likely take around a year and a half so please only apply if you are able to consistently play.

• Experience: Applicants with RPG and Roll20 experience are preferred.
• Active: You are active, mature individual who is punctual once a week.
• Communication: You must have a microphone, webcam, and skype. You are willing to communicate via roll20 video & skype for voice. There are no exceptions made to this requirement.
• Prepared: You show up prepared with a character that is ready to play.
• Don't be a dick: You are expected to not intentionally break the game and to get along with the other players of the group without conflict.
• Roleplay: You are willing to participate and roleplay in-game. Players should be able to roleplay interesting and flavorful characters.
• Macros: We'll use the 5e Shaped sheet in roll20
• Conduct: Players that use racist, bigoted, sexist, or homophobic language should not apply

Character:

• Level 3
• 32 point buy (max 15 before racials as normal)
