Hey there, guys! We have decided to host an RP based on the popular comic: Homestuck, sticking to canon as much as possible in order to produce the most satisfying and all round great experience however with brand new characters, worlds, story and much much more! Don’t know what Homestuck is? Not a problem, if the quote hasn't told you enough then well, having to explain it with a brief description is impossible since it’s kinda mindfuck. However we can give you an idea of it. A taster if you would.
In the modern day, a world similar to ours but with a few quirks, 4 young kids play a game that alters real life and ultimately ends the universe in hopes of creating a new one. These kids are transported to the medium. A collection of planets, consorts and other planes used in new universe creation. Using the power of their class and aspect, teamwork, fate and wits, they attempt to beat the game and finally escape to a brand new universe. However not everything goes to plan and players will have their mind and bodies pushed to their limits as they must strive to balance the creation of the new universe, the worlds that’re trying to kill them and the loss of their old life and even new friends.
Sound intense and rad as hell? Good, cause that's exactly what you're gonna get along with so much more! We currently have 7 spots available:
1Troll (The alien species who look human with grey skin, sharp teeth and red, orange and yellow horns. They also can have a wide range of blood colour from birth however this specific alien that you’ll be playing will have bronze coloured blood. This specific blood type also allows the player to communicate with animals and has the chance to gain the ability to fly.)
2 Beta Human Females (beta meaning part of the first group of players who play the beta version)
2 Alpha Human Males (alpha meaning part of the second group of players who play the alpha version)
2 Alpha Human Females (alpha meaning part of the second group of players who play the alpha version)
These are the current options but if we have more humans or trolls than offered then a second game will open up so do not worry if you think the position might be taken. The only requirements we have is that you be 16+ or at least mature enough to seem 16+.
As we are hoping to have quite a few players, we have decided to host it with an ‘At your own pace’, ‘play by post’ style with stats and dice rolls for actions. The method we have chosen is via forum posts with dice rolls as an addition for actions along with multiple GM’s who will guide the game and reveal major plot points along with helping out characters who have writer’s block and so on. The dice system is a custom made and previously used and tested D20 homebrew, created out of a comparison of multiple systems such as World of Darkness and other minor systems such as SilCore and taking the best of them in order to create something better suited to such an epic adventure.
