D&D Lost Mines of Phandelver!

Looking for roleplayers and people who just want to have fun with their game, with some adventuring thrown in!

We will be running Lost Mines of Phandelver

You have been recruited by your dwarven friend and patron Gundren Rockseeker to take a wagon full of supplies to the town of Phandalin. He has big news and he absolutely REFUSES to share it with anyone until arrival. You will be accompanied by a knight named Sildar Hallwinter for the journey in the escort. The wilds of Faerun are a dangerous place and there's a greater mystery at hand!

Characters allowed: only official rules or publications are allowed, no homebrew will be allowed, stats will be based on point buy rolled up here:

Make a new post about you, maybe some information about your background with D&D, and the character you want to bring in (a portrait would be nice too!). The character post should have something like a short bio, or at least the idea of the type of character you want to play.

I create my high-res maps and handouts usually in photoshop and through using different tools. Heres a sample of some old ones I've cobbled together in the past:

I try to maintain a certain aesthetic with the game maps, plan to find a sprite or an image to use where we can photoshop out the background - no floating heads for this game. I do dynamic lighting as well. I like to do voices for my NPCs and monsters, and I love to just have fun with it.

Bring your own personality to your characters! I love Baldur's Gate and epic level quests, so hopefully we can get an interesting party with some good party banter in.

If this campaign goes well enough - we can take a look at the other official campaigns that were pushed out. (It looks like Storm King's Thunder starts at level 5, so we might do that)
