"Left a desolate ruin after a supernatural cataclysm, Neverwinter now rises from the ashes to reclaim its title as the Jewel of the North. Yet even as its citizens return and rebuild, hidden forces pursue their own goals and vendettas; anyone of which could tear the city apart. Adventurers in this campaign must plunge into the politics, skulduggery, and peril of a city on the brink of destruction or greatness."
The adventure doesn't stop at Neverwinter's crumbling walls. The tangled plots of Neverwinter might draw the heroes to explore the wilds of the North, to plunge into the gloom of the Shadowfell, to discover the lost dwarven kingdom of Gauntlgrym, and even travel to far-flung and magic-steeped Thay.
This is a west marches / sandbox style campaign based out of the city of Neverwinter as it was just after the spellplague. The campaign could be roleplay heavy or combat heavy or an even mix of both depending on how the players choose to interact with the world, how they solve the problems/adventures they are faced with and what tasks they choose to pursue versus what tasks they choose to ignore. The world is a living, breathing thing and nothing "stays still." Characters can originate from Waterdeep, Neverwinter, Luskan and the immediate surrounding areas. Accepted applicants will get a more detailed explanation.
NOT CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR PLAYERS!!!
Currently looking for a CO-GM! I am looking for assistance with this large world from someone interested in roleplaying NPCs, perhaps running the sessions when I'm away, making maps, statting tokens for custom monsters, along with other tasks. I can share access to the Pro-tools, Volo's Guide, the Monster Manual, SKT, LMoP and the Yawning portal as well as my Google drive full of PDF's, tokens, and maps. I’d be happy to work with an inexperienced GM and would show you how I determine rulings, how I stay organized, how to use Roll20, and which 3rd party tools I use. Make an application post with your relevant details or send me a PM. Looking forward to hearing from you! :) :)
