Kobolds of the Kyz Caverns

You are a member of a new kobold tribe. Your old tribe was overrun by adventurers and you and the others who survived the onslaught must start anew. Your group found a cave with a running steam of fresh water and you decide that this is where you will rebuild.

Will your tribe survive and thrive or starve and be slaughtered? Will you set the devious traps the kobolds are known for? Will you make allies or enemies of the other creatures in the nearby caves? Will you merge with or eradicate nearby groups? Will you explore deep into the underdark or keep to the surface? Will you get revenge on the adventures who killed off your brethren?

I am trying a new idea. This game will be focused on building an expansive cave to keep safe. There will be combat, but I am going to try to add more role playing opportunities than would be expected in this type of game mode. At first everyone will start as a level one kobold, but if you merge with tribes of other species you will be able to play as those races as well. Many of the existing backgrounds will need to be re-flavored to fit into this game-mode, but I will do what I can to accommodate. Also, none of you will be winged kobolds, just normal ones from Volo's Guide to Monsters.
