The Blizzards of Invasion is a re-modeled short ( A few sessions at best, depending on speed ) adventure that grew out of an abandoned side quest in a different campaign, and adapted into a brand new expedition designed for level 20 characters. Starting at the highest level and holding positions of renown across the realm, you find yourself dispatched at the behest of Baldur's Gate Council of Four to the mining town of Nashkel in the southern Sword Coast, nestled under the Cloudpeak Mountains which mark the border of Amn. Several regiments of Flaming Fist ( Baldurian military ) patrols and scouts have been mysteriously lost on the council's own side of the border, and amid growing tensions verging on war with Amn, combined with long-time reports of a potentially responsible dragon that makes its lair in the mountain above, the Council decides that none would be more fitting than you to determine the origin of and proceed to quickly resolve the bothersome affair which interrupts their vigilance. You quickly come to discover however that a far more sinister, less expected threat might now be casting its shadows over the once-peaceful Cloudpeaks range.

The Blizzards of Invasion was designed with the very height of player abilities in mind and will challenge you throughout the course of your journey, in addition to the gradually unfolding revelations of your task as you progress onwards. We will be starting at level 20, with no UA or homebrew characters allowed.
