What? - A romp through the D&D 5th Edition module "Mines of Phandelver", dovetailing directly into the campaign book "Princes of the Apocalypse."
Where? - Umm ... here. Roll20. I thought that would be self explanatory.
When? - Every other Saturday evening from 6pm until around 9 or 10 pm. There will be exceptions to this. I am a grown up with a spouse and children ... things happen. I will do my level best to provide ample forewarning if a session is going to have to be skipped, rescheduled, or the like.
Who? - Again with these obvious questions?! YOU! YOU ARE WHO! I don't think this is a great way to get things started between us ... I'm going to need you to start asking better questions. Jeez ... ANYWAY ... level 1 characters made from the base classes and base races, plus tiefling, aasimar, and genasi, are acceptable.
How? - We'll be using Roll20 for our base of operations with Discord (online text, audio, and video chat designed specifically for table top gaming) providing the A/V.
Who am I? - That's a pretty deep existential question there, new friend. Maybe I should start by telling you who I am instead? I'm a WASP'y professional in my mid-30's. I have a family, student loans, a crippling mountain of consumer debt, and a mid-sized SUV (IT'S NOT A MINIVAN! STOP SAYING THAT!). I've been playing table top and live action (not boffers ... parlour LARP ... thank you.) role playing games for over 20 years now. I am pretty sure I have played all of the really popular systems over those years, and many of the unpopular ones as well. I have done a metric ton of DM'ing and storytelling for groups ranging from one person to three thousand. I have struggled with small, unruly table top groups, and I have been in charge of organized play at massive international gaming conventions. I think I'm funny, likeable, and fair. I hope you think so too.
