The DC Universe hasn't changed much, the technology has gotten more advanced, but not as much as one might hope. We still don't have flying cars. We haven't eliminated disease, we haven't ended world hunger, and we don't have world peace. We still, however, have Super Heroes and Super Villains.
Some people call New SanDiego the city of the future. Built on a land mass that rose from the depths off the coast of California following a failed plot from an alien race in 2017 the city has become a bustling metropolis.
