Welcome to Pathfinder One Shots! As the name suggests, this is a multipurpose campaign for running a variety of one shot games. Primarily, these will be for me (the GM) to gain practical experience running Pathfinder, using certain 3rd Party material, and meeting players, all for a long term campaign I intend to run in the near future. However, even if you aren't interested in playing in a long-term campaign, and whether you're an experienced Pathfinder player, or this would be your first tabletop game ever, you're more than welcome!
I myself have played in a couple Pathfinder games- both adventure paths, Wrath of The Righteous and Hell's Rebels- and ran a few other campaigns before- Changeling The Lost and Shadowrun. Personally, I prefer games that have a good amount of non-combat interactions in addition to the dungeon delving, and will be looking for such players for the long term campaign- though the one shots may be more combat-oriented, just so that we can learn the system and 3rd party material more easily.
The 3rd party material we'll be using will be Dreamscarred Press's Path of War (including Path of War: Expanded, The Medic Class, and the Fool's Errand Discipline) and Drop Dead Studios's Spheres of Power. Check the 'Class Listing' thread below for exactly how available classes in the one shots break down.
In order to join in, head to the 'Applications' thread and introduce yourself. The first post of that thread will remain updated on the current status of recruiting- I intend to run each one shot multiple times, so don't think that even if there have been many applications already, that there's no room for you; if the thread doesn't say applications are closed, please join in! We'd love to have you!
I live in the EST time zone (GMT-5), but am personally quite flexible for time to run games, and am only unavailable on Wednesdays. UPDATE: Due to my Wednesday game's GM having a class that day, we'll be playing that game on Mondays instead (Of course, that means he'll also be running two games two days in a row, so either game day might change. If the game I'm in switches from Monday to another day- it would probably be Tuesday- I'll update this accordingly).
As I'll be running each one shot multiple times, I'll be able to group people together based on time and day availability. I'd prefer to only run one, maybe two games at the same time, so there might be a bit of a wait before some groups play (especially because the one shots might end up going for multiple sessions). We'll be using Roll20 for initial organization, character sheets, and maps and rolling during sessions, and Skype for voice and communication before/between sessions.
Note: While Roll20 requires that a first game day be selected in order to put up a LFG listing, the listed date won't necessarily be the day played- the date will be based on what days the first group of players are free to play.
I think that's everything; I look forward to playing with all of you!
