This is primarily a writing-based campaign, and those who have a craving for constant bloodshed, dice rolls, and machine guns are likely better off joining a different group. Player focuses should involve exploring the setting, developing their character, and interaction with the enviornment and people around them. Expect elements from both film noir and outrun genres, alongside the dark and gritty cyberpunk we all know and love.
Somewhere, in the large city that is Evanston, an obscure, indie rockerboy publicly requests that his fans attend his birthday party-- an event being held within his apartment building.
When you wake up post-party, he's not there. What is there, however, is a stack of printer paper, with typewritten instructions written on each and every one, alongside a post-it note containing administrator credentials to one of the biggest corporations in the world.
An additional note: Netrunners are explicitly banned in this campaign, both for being a complete hog of time, as well as for simply being unneeded for group play. Hacking systems will be similar to the
game Uplink, if you're interested in orienting your character down a technical path.
Games are expected to last roughly five hours each.
We'll send a message to this Game's GM asking their permission to let you join the game. If you want, you can include a brief message below as well:
