Greetings and salutations! I'm a moderately experienced GM, who is seeking a brave soul to venture forth and join an existing group in their shenanigans. We are following an adventure path, which may be modified here and there to fit. The AP in question is 'Wrath of the Righteous', so you must not have played any longer than the first book, if you wish to join.
Our current band of misfits numbers three persons. Two 'Might' characters, a Barbarian and a Paladin, and one 'Magic' character, a Cleric. Do not feel forced to fill out the 'gaps' in our current composition, but rather go for what would be fun, enjoyable, and bring something to the group.
[Game]
Our sessions run on Thursdays, starting at 4 PM EST / 2000 Zulu
Expect sessions to last for roughly four to five hours, all depending on availability of the group
A good, functional microphone is required, as we will communicate verbally on Discord. 'Good' is by no means a high-end studio microphone, but nobody wants to hear something that sounds like a plastic cup on a string. If you have significant background noise, you may be asked to enable the push-to-talk function.
[Campaign Details]
System is Pathfinder
Given the nature of the adventure path, there is a significant amount of hack 'n slash involved. We try to add as much roleplay as we can muster, so it may feel more immersive.
[Character Details]
You will start at level 8 with 33,000 GP to start spend, with no single item costing more than half that amount
Ability scores are generated with a 25-point buy
Most content is allowed, but all is subject to GM veto, if deemed necessary - unlikely to happen, but rights reserved.
No necromancers, no psionics, no ninjas, no (figurative) cheese
Given the theme of the campaign, a good-aligned character is ideal
It is advised to simply go for your desired characters, rather than trying to minmax/optimize. Encounters will be balanced relative to the capabilities of the group, thus making it unnecessary to seek some manner of imbalance.
