Sipro had always been a land of strife and conflict since the Gods first burst from the core of the earth itself and birthed the soil, gave form to the forests and filled the impossibly huge valleys with what would become the oceans and rivers.
When the dwarves were built from the clay and lava they populated the mountains and built monuments to their creators.
The elves, crafted from leaf and soil, took to the forests with their stolen relics of the Gods' existence so they could guard them from time.
Then the humans, favored children made of spit and fire, set about like wild marauders intent on claiming all they saw to give their fleeting existences some sort of meaning.
But not all those who lived in the land had tales of mundanity or strife to their names. There would be those who were sung of in song and had immense tomes dedicated to their histories, but there were too the unsung heroes whose names faded into obscurity... Lost to all but those whose lives they'd touched, in one way or another.
Heroes take many shapes, and not all who wield the sword or powerful magic used their abilities to change the world. Sometimes they merely aimed to change their own destinies and the lives of those they loved - and some of them even succeeded.
I'm planning to run a 5e campaign of some sort using an improvised homebrew setting I've been working on in the PbP games I DM on mythweavers. This game's been running for a few months and after losing a player recently, and with one or two of our other players being busy during our usual time more often, I'm looking to add a bit of fresh blood to the mix.
The game is wholly text-based roleplaying., occasionally using roll20 screenshots for maps for some of the larger scale or boss fights. Everything else is Theatre of the Mind in terms of combat, with the occasional picture to illustrate a monster or NPC of note.
